Village Blues Club

That's fine - the sites are all part of one big happy, if somewhat dysfunctional, family.
There's more about the reasons for this, and why you may occasionally see pages from yet another website, on the "About Us" page if you want to get bogged down with detail.

You can navigate around the site through the menu bar at the top of the screen ("hamburger" dropdown on mobile screens).
Clicking on either of the planet logos at the top and bottom of any page on the site should bring you back to the main homepage

This section of the site should end up as a consolidation of information that is currently in a number of locations including, but not limited to, Wikipedia, The Village Blues Club at the Roundhouse Dagenham Nostalgia Group on Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, ...

It's not intended to replace any of the existing sources, but to try and gather them (or links to them) together to provide a "one stop" reference and information guide.
Obviously, the listings and information here draw heavily on the outstanding research work already done by Ken Ansted, Gordon Robinson, Steve Kelly, and many others

The gig listings pages are still being checked against the Wikipedia entry and other sources to make sure they're as accurate as possible.
If the colour of a blue date button flips when you hover over it with your mouse (on a PC/laptop) or long-press (on a mobile/tablet) you can click on it to go to a separate page with more information about that particular date.
The red buttons are for the main headline acts, and the orange buttons are for the support acts.
Again, if there's more information the button colour will flip when you hover/long-press and you can click it to go the the page with additional information.

These listings are still a "work in progress", though, and hopefully there will be more information for the various artists and individual dates - if anyone has any photos or videos they don't mind sharing of any acts or specific dates, then please send a message through the form at the bottom of this page or the "Contact Us" menu option.
